RtN Weekend Bag Transfer

We will run a limited bag transfer service on 28-29 August 2021 that will give cyclists the opportunity to go out and use the RtN 153 routes and to support local hospitality businesses by making it a cycling holiday weekend. This is open to cyclists who were registered for Ride the North 2021 (we will email you) and to those who were not registered. The bag transfer service will run on the following routes:

From Banchory Bags will be transferred direct to accommodation establishments in Grantown, Elgin, Cullen & Banff (you book direct and label bags clearly)

The bag drop will be at Bellfield Park Car Park from 0800 hrs to 1000 hrs. Bags will be dropped at hotels and B&Bs by 1600 hrs. Bags will be collected at your accommodation from 0930 hrs on Sunday morning and will be available for collection in Banchory from 1500 hrs.

From Inverurie Bags will be transferred direct to accommodation establishments in Grantown, Elgin, Cullen & Banff (you book direct and label bags clearly)

The bag drop will be at Kellands Park Car Park from 0800 hrs to 1000 hrs. Bags will be dropped at hotels and B&Bs by 1600 hrs. Bags will be collected at your accommodation from 0930 hrs on Sunday morning and will be available for collection in Inverurie from 1500 hrs.

From Elgin Bags will be transferred direct to accommodation establishments in Grantown, Banchory, Cullen & Banff (you book direct and label bags clearly)

The bag drop will be at Lossie Green Park Car Park from 0800 hrs to 1000 hrs. Bags will be dropped at hotels and B&Bs by 1600 hrs. Bags will be collected at your accommodation from 0930 hrs on Sunday morning and will be available for collection in Elgin from 1500 hrs.

Covid-19 Compliance – The bag drop areas will require social distancing, but with three drop-zones and 2 hour window for bag drop, this will not be congested.
