The covid crisis means that I don’t want all eggs in the same basket going forward. For the past two or three years I have dabbled with running cycling trips to Europe. For the past 10 years, I’ve been told “cycling in Scotland??? If it was in Holland, I’d think about it. Haha”
The world’s #1 cycling nation is an 80 min flight away from where I live …and where I live has it’s knickers in a twist about having one bike lane for safe cycling that was too controversial. If the virus allows, I plan ‘Ride the Netherlands’ in 2021. A leisurely 4 days for the joy of riding on proper cycle paths with (flat) routes of 90-100km. I will do alternative route options that are more like 140km for those who need something more. There will be at least one hill!
No date set. I have work to do to be clearer what the offer/cost is …but probably taking bikes over from Scotland (subject to brexit/customs investigations) and most likely offering city centre hotels serving chilled Dutch beers. I am not taking bookings yet. If you opt in for further updates, I will email you details. Email email@example.com
