RtN – the 100k collection

The 2020 Covid-19 crisis will have many impacts.  It has resulted in both a new interest in holidays spent closer to home and a new interest in cycling as a form of leisure and exercise.  Our event is based in the North East of Scotland (broadly between Inverness and Aberdeen) – which happens to be where you will find the Grampian Mountains, the Cairngorms National Park, Scotland’s Castle Trail, the Malt Whisky Trail, a magnificant coast with sea cliff and long empty sandy beaches.  It’s not bad!  For cycling our region also has a network of roads linking towns, villages and tiny hamlets …it’s not a heavily populated area, so if you want to get away from traffic (and indeed people) that’s not too difficult.

Below, we have linked a few pages that give you some ideas for bike rides in our region.  These are all on road, but there is much more to discover if you want to explore forest trails. Hope the links below give you some ideas.  It should be quite easy to download any of the routes to a mobile device, but they are all on-line for public access.
