We are always so very grateful for the support of volunteers to make our event happen. If you want to be involved in ride the north, but cycling 170 miles is not for you, we would be delighted to recruit volunteers for driving a support van, marshaling, refreshment stations or even cycling! As a volunteer, you will help support our event and the fundraising efforts of hundreds of cyclists.

Support Van Driver
With an event venue some 170 miles long, there is a lot of logistics. We would certainly welcome anyone who’d be prepared to drive one of the support vans. This role comes with a donation to the charity of your choice. We have the vehicle …we are just looking for the driver!
Check-In Desks
If you have 2-3 hours to spare on Saturday morning we have registration desks open and bags to check-in. Extra pairs of hands is always welcome.
Refreshment Stations
If you could he;p for 2 or 3 hours at Rothienorman, Rothiemay, Clochan, Elgin on Saturday or Dallas, Edinville, Rhynie, Keig or Castle Fraser on Sunday, please do get in touch. we’d be delighted to have your help to hand out refreshments or marshal riders in and out of the refreshment stations
Marshals
There are place along the route where marshals can help to make the vent safer for all. If you can help for 2-3 hours, we’d be delighted to hear from you
